The Merry Club
Based on the frontispiece to a book of catches called the Jovial Companions or Merry Club by Henry Hulsberg 1709.
A fearsome ensemble of street musicians playing mock instruments including a shawm player,a ballald singer, a player on bladder-and-string, and a singer with saltbox.All gathered together to burlesque the famous catches of the day.
