Other Experiences.

 1975-79   Worked with many theatre groups, ie  Welfare State International.    Was assistant to Yolanda Sonnabend for exhibitions at the Whitechapel and Hayes Gallery, Sheffield. Taught at Abbey Wood comprehensive school, London. Costume assistant at BBC

 1979        Received 'Setting Up' Grant form Crafts Council.

 1979-97 Ran a workshop designing and making high end demi-couture clothing. Quilted bodices and flamboyant  wedding and evening wear. Selling worldwide to shops like Saks Fifth Avenue, Nieman Marcus and Henri  Bendel and showing collections in Paris, Milan and New York. My clients included Emma Thompson, Elizabeth Taylor, the Duchess of Kent and Fearn Cotton.

The V&A have a jacket and coat in their dress collection and in 1997 I took part in their 'Cutting Edge' Exhibition.
